St Paul’s has a Blessing Box and our commitment is to fill it twice a day every day of the year.  We fill it with dry goods and food staples and with toiletries that people need, but can’t afford.  We subsidize other food sources for neighbourhood individuals and families who may never have enough to eat, and who may be temporarily lacking in money for food. There are many reasons these days for food insecurity. Our blessing box is close at hand with food for those who can only infrequently access food banks and free meals.  The blessing box is filled for everyone who needs it and no questions are asked.

We are totally volunteer-run and we totally depend on donations of food and money to keep going.  Food donations may be dropped off at the church any time when the church office is open or church services are running. There is a list of suggested food items in the church front hall where food is stored.  Financial donations may be made payable to St Paul’s Anglican Church (for blessing box).

A Blessing Box is a blessing for those able to give, and a blessing for those needing to receive.

Please bring in your products and leave them in the large blue bin that is on the floor in the entranceway (the narthex) of the church.
The blessing box is stocked twice-daily from the bin.
